At the last Basel Trade Fair, Omega presented a sumptuous edition of its Seamaster Aqua Terra “three hands” in a 38 mm version in Sedna gold with a “wave” dial enhanced with ruby hour markers. The beginning of a new jewellery watch collection for Omega.
The recent transformation of the Seamaster Aqua Terra Omega collection has resulted in a number of subtle and inspired changes. Today, the collection goes even further with several new jewelry watches with incomparable design.
The very first version of this collection, which will be followed in the coming months by other still secret models, features a symmetrical 38 mm Sedna gold case and a diamond-paved bezel.
The Sedna gold is found on the “Dauphine” type hands which indicate the time on the 12 hour-markers set with marquise ruby. Remember that Sedna gold is a special patented alloy of gold, copper and palladium created to guarantee exceptional durability.
This impressive dial is distinguished by its three undulating motifs in different styles, which recall the rhythm of the ocean waves: the first in silver guilloché blends with a second in Sedna gold and a third – also in Sedna gold – but set with a total of 191 diamonds.
The polished conical crown of the Aqua Terra bears the Omega logo on the case middle, struck on a matt surface.
Finally, the watch is driven by the Master Chronometer calibre 8807, an automatic, antimagnetic movement. The set is worn on a red patent leather strap.
