Some masks contain basic ingredients whose role is to close pores. If this is not the case, after removing your mask, you can apply an astringent, and rinse yourself with cold water.
Cleanse your face with natural products
We must never forget to preserve our skin, the sensitive organ that covers our entire body. That is why we must take care of it. It is not only a question of aesthetics, but also a question of health. This time we will focus on how to clean his face, this area known to be so delicate.
We don’t need to go to a beauty salon, nor do we need to use expensive chemicals to clean and illuminate our facial skin. We can perform a beauty treatment directly at home with totally natural products.
It is true that cleaning your face is an essential hygienic activity for our body. But it’s not just about that: it’s also a great way to rejuvenate our skin. We propose to you to follow various stages to carry out a simple, natural and effective cleaning !
First, wash your face with warm water and mild soap. Once we have removed all surface impurities accumulated during the day, we can open our pores. It is a fundamental step because it serves to prepare the ground before applying our mask to cleanse the skin. Indeed, the pores well released allow our skin to absorb perfectly the products that we will apply later.
We can heat a pot of water until it boils. Then, we remove it from the fire, and all we have to do is add an herb such as lavender, chamomile or green tea. Immediately after, we approach our face to the container and we cover our head with a towel, which allows us to receive the vapors directly on our face. Two to five minutes will be more than enough for the skin to sweat well.
Exfoliation or peeling
During this step, we will eliminate the dead cells embedded in the skin. We will also promote cell regeneration. Exfoliation, or peeling, also allows us to eliminate scars, prevent the appearance of flaking and promote circulation in the skin. This should always be done once the skin is thoroughly cleansed and the pores are open. Skipping steps is not recommended. We can carry out this peeling with the help of various house recipes:
100 g almonds contain a large amount of vitamin E (26.22 mg). That’s a considerable contribution! 100 g almonds contain a large amount of vitamin E (26.22 mg). That’s a considerable contribution!
Almond Peeling: We mix the following ingredients and store in a clean glass container. This will allow us to apply our treatment several times, for example once a week.
½ cup sea salt
½ teaspoon of pure almond extract
½ cup coffee beans
½ cup coarse brown sugar
½ cup sweet almond oil
Coconut and chocolate peeling: Mix the oil well with the sugar and extracts until you obtain a homogeneous substance. Then add the coconut powder and keep it in a container ready for use.
½ cup coconut oil
3 teaspoons pure cocoa powder, no sugar added
1 cup brown sugar
½ teaspoon of pure coconut extract
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Lemon and almond peeling: This mixture should not come into contact with liquid substances. You will have to prepare it before washing your face with it, and we will stir it with our fingers just before using it.
½ teaspoon lemon zest
½ cup sea salt
½ cup sweet almond oil
When applying exfoliants to our face, it is very important to do it gently. It is necessary to make a circular massage on all the skin of our face, by carrying out a light pressure. We’ll use an antiseptic cotton pad for makeup. In this way, we remove all dirt and dead cells. We can therefore continue our natural treatment after this stage.
We can let the paste work for about twenty minutes, then we will wash our face again with warm water. Right after, we can remove the pimples and blackheads on our skin. This is the only appropriate time to do so, because in other cases, we would risk damaging our skin and thus provoking skin damage.
Once our skin is well cleansed, exfoliated and free of impurities, we can apply a natural face mask. The mask will suit everyone’s personal needs. There are masks to moisturize dry skin, others to remove excess sebum, or to remove stains. There are others to close pores and others to fight the appearance of wrinkles.
We can apply the mask until the product is very dry, or we can use the same method as during the peeling, i.e. leave the mask on for 20 to 30 minutes, then rinse with warm water. The best thing to do in this case is to gently pat the skin dry.
There are natural masks very simple to make and apply. What’s more, they’re very effective. Here are some of them:
Anti-wrinkle mask: We mix a cup of seedless cucumber pulp and a raw egg in a container. We apply the mask on the whole skin of our face, then we let it act for at least half an hour.
PH restorer mask: We use a pack of gelatin, as well as a cup of tomato pulp. We heat the gelatine and then add the tomato pulp until we obtain a compact paste. Once the whole thing has cooled, we apply it all over our face and let it work for about twenty minutes. This is the time needed for the tomato to rebalance the pH while the gelatine tones our skin.
Moisturizing mask: The mask is made with a half of avocado transformed into puree, two spoons of honey and two eggs. We beat the eggs until stiff, then add the other two ingredients. Once the mixture looks like a thin paste, we apply it to our skin. In addition to moisturizing our skin the avocado will help us eliminate scars and hyperpigmentation. We must leave the mask on our face for at least half an hour.
As you can see, you don’t need much to prepare a homemade mask! The great advantage is that these masks are totally natural and therefore have no contraindications. The masks will leave your face smooth and your skin soft. Remember to remove the mask with warm water and gently pat your skin dry.
Once the cleaning is finished, the ideal is to close the pores. In this way, they are avoided to fill with impurities. We can do this by applying water well frozen on our face, by melting some ice cubes for example. If the mask contains tomatoes or cucumbers, you do not need to, because they close the pores of our face themselves.
There are other products that can help close pores, such as green tea, mint or apple cider. These ingredients all have astringent virtues. We apply them to our skin by moistening our face with a towel, then simply wait for the product to dry. Afterwards, we can rinse our face with cold water.
Once the cleaning is finished, it must last in time. It is therefore very important to hydrate our skin properly, because it should not be too dry or too oily. For this, it is recommended to use a moisturizing cream adapted to our skin and its specificities. This will prevent dryness, itching and even skin ageing. We need to moisturize our skin daily to keep it smooth and soft.
We can also make our own anti-wrinkle moisturising cream for very dry skin. This homemade remedy can be stored in the refrigerator for at least three months. But it is better not to wait so long, because the benefits of the cream take effect especially in the first few days, right after you have applied it. The ingredients are as follows:
25 g cucumber soup
25 g distilled water
25 g jojoba oil
25 g grape seed oil
25 g rose essential oil
Just mix all the ingredients in a rather large container. Beat the mixture well until the oil blends well with the water and other products. Store the mixture in a glass jar. You can now start applying it daily to enjoy its virtues from day one.
It is recommended to apply it when you leave the shower or bath, i.e. when the skin is clean and the pores are open. Thus, the wonderful effects of our cream will penetrate more easily into our skin!
